Purpose and Scope of Position (concise statement of the general duties and responsibilities that make the job unique):

The purpose of the Account Manager is to provide customer support for clients, insure jobs flow through the system, and that quality standards are meet. Currently we are only focusing on our current clients. In the future there will be an opportunity to sell outside our current clients.


Immediate Key Responsibilities

Account Management: Work with customers from sale to execution, facilitate all correspondence between Northstar Labs and the external customer.


Administrative Support & Customer Contact: Prepare quotes by compiling data from internal costs to mark up and present to the customer, aid team in entering orders and communicate within organization. Professionally communicate with customer via phone & email to answer any questions they may have, gather information to process orders. Must maintain a focus on customer service and find ways to go above and beyond the customers' expectations. Follow up with customers after shipments to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve problems.


Responds to client inquiries with accurate information in a timely manner. Ability to read, writes, spell; compose business letters, and use common business math applications.


Quotes prices in conjunction with R&D within guidelines and encourages clients to order products.


Interacts with other departments within the Company to successfully provide information and delivery service to the clients.


Ability to work in a frequently interrupted, short-deadline environment while giving courteous support for client's immediate needs.


Will be involved in multiple projects and will be attending to multiple customers every day. Must be well organized and sensitive to details in order to be successful. There must be a focus on efficiency and productivity to meet job requirements.


Resolution Management: Will ensure customers concerns are addressed and solutions are implemented that are aligned with organizational guidelines.
