Pay Range:  $18 depending on experience in chemical compounding and production supervision.

Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm M-F

Purpose and Scope of Position:

The Compounding and Fill Supervisor will ensure timely delivery of accurate, high quality product batches for production. Maintain department cleanliness, GMP compliance, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure GMP/FDA standards are being followed
  • Confirm batches are manufactured to specifications
  • Keep accurate inventory of ingredients
  • Maintain documentation required for cGMP's
  • Manage daily schedule
  • Maintain area cleanliness
  • Ensure employees are trained on Environmental, Health and Safety policies, Company policies, Good Manufacturing Policies, and Standard Operating Procedures through company training sessions and/or compounding meetings.
  • Ensure all employees and the work environments are safe and sanitary through weekly compounding audits. Attend appropriate meetings
  • Ensure, through inspection, all compounding employees write accurately and legibly all required information on any batch sheets, formulas, housekeeping logs, and any other documents assigned to him/her.
  • Maintain and update Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) / Work Instructions (W/I) as well as co-author any new SOPs / WI as needed for the compounding department.
  • Work closely with the QA Department in investigating batch errors and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Work with Production and Scheduling Department, as needed, to plan schedules and ensure that the production schedule is met.
  • Assist Compounding Personnel to meet daily goals and complete projects.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Required Experience

  • 1-2 years in a Compounding/manufacturing environment
  • 1-2 years experience with GMP, FDA, Department of Health, safety training
  • Previous supervisory experience

  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing
  • Ability to manage a work schedule


Language Requirements

  • Must be able to read and write fluently in English


Education and Training Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Lean knowledge
  • Previous compounding/batching experience
  • previous supervisor duties.
  • GMP


Physical Demands

  • Climb a ladder
  • Lift 50 lbs.
  • Stand for 4+ hours of shift
  • Be able to drive a fork lift
  • Be able to use a pallet jack
  • Be able to use a barrel jack
